A movie you should see
I’ve realized that these posts have been rather dreary and serious (translation: boring) lately, so I figured it might be good to introduce something funny. Now, any good comedy fan surely has already seen The Full Monty (1997), but in case you haven’t, it’s a hilarious film about six unemployed steel workers in Sheffield, England who decide to put on a male striptease show in order to make some money. The tenuous relation to my topic is that while the main character does in fact find the opportunity to work, it would be at a factory job making 2.50 quid an hour, so he refuses the offer because naturally he feels he deserves better (see other post on underemployment). Anyway, have a look, then go and rent the film when you get a chance – you’ll laugh.
